Dr. Carole Dehmel graduated from St. George’s University and finished her clinical year at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine.
Upon graduation she worked in small animal practices in Nashville, TN as a general practitioner and relief veterinarian in emergency clinics.
Since moving back to Indiana, Dr. Dehmel has been searching for more ways to enrich patients' lives beyond the limits of traditional medicine. She ended up bringing her own cat to the Integrative Veterinary Clinic and saw how the treatment increased her pet's quality of life.
Dr. Dehmel is excited to embark on this new journey with the Integrative Veterinary Clinic and knows she will grow as a doctor by offering more effective treatments and supportive care.
Currently studying acupuncture at Chi University, Dr. Dehmel enjoys internal medicine and dentistry and is Fear Free Certified.
Outside of work, she enjoys running, climbing, gardening, traveling, backpacking and hiking. She loves taking walks with her dogs Drax and Banjo, and also shares her home with two cats, Percy and Pickles.
